Eutiquio "Tiq" Chapa is the Program Manager for Stanford's Latino Entrepreneur Initiative which is a part of the Stanford Graduate School of Business Center for Entrepreneurial Studies. SLEI seeks to serve Latino tech and small business entrepreneurs nationwide by leveraging Stanford's academic resources and network.
Tiq has experience as a Mobile UX Designer who also helped develop the Hispanic Heritage Foundation's Leaders on Fast Track Program (LOFT) and it's technology programming which serves tens of thousands of Latinos annually. Formerly, he co-founded a startup and raised seed funding to utilize Facebook data to connect people around shared causes. Tiq has had the chance to work with the White House Initiative for Excellence in Education for Hispanic Americans, NIKE and the Stanford University Endowment. Tiq graduated from Stanford University in 2011 with a B.A. in Urban Studies. He enjoys Crossfit and played independent minor league baseball post-graduation. His parents are Mexican-American and he was born in Salinas, CA and raised in King City, CA.
